Royole FlexPai 2 foldable phone release date, price, news and features

The Royole FlexPai was the first foldable phone that most people could buy, and now its successor has launched – meet the Royole FlexPai 2. The original Royole FlexPai stood from the mass of standard ‘chocolate-bar’ phones all on its own, but the FlexPai 2 doesn’t have that distinction. In a world of Huawei Mate Xses, Motorola Razrs and Samsung Galaxy Folds, novelty alone won’t be enough to propel the FlexPai 2 to success. It’s a good thing, then, that the Royole FlexPai 2 looks pretty well specced-out, from its processor to its camera array. The main thing we don’t know right now is international pricing, but given that we’ve yet to see a folding phone that’s affordable, we’re expecting it to be expensive. We’re still waiting on global launch details, but the Royole FlexPai 2 has had an official launch in China, so we know about its design and most of its specs, and below we’ll tell you everything you need to know about the new folding phone. There haven’t been many exciting Wear OS watches recently, but that could soon change, as it’s rumored that OnePlus has a smartwatch in the works which leaks have called simply the OnePlus Watch. We don’t know a huge amount about the wearable yet, but it sounds like it has been in development for a while, and there’s evidence that it could land this year – possibly alongside the OnePlus 8T. Below you’ll find everything that we’ve heard about the OnePlus Watch so far, including potential release timing, specs, features, and more. Xiaomi Mi 10T release date, price, news and leaks

It’s starting to seem like the Xiaomi Mi 10T might be the next big phone from the Chinese company, and it could be coming very soon. The Xiaomi Mi 10 marked an emphatic entry into the premium smartphone market for Xiaomi, and a departure from the mid-range price point that the Xiaomi Mi 9, among others, sat. In the same way that phone had the Mi 9T succeed it later in the year, it seems the Mi 10 might have a Mi 10T coming soon. This isn’t totally speculation on our part – it would fit the company’s annual refresh cycle, and it’s also something the company itself has teased – there’s more on that below.  The Xiaomi Mi 10T isn’t the only big phone we’re expecting from the company soon – the Mi Note 11 is expected towards the end of the year, with perhaps the Mi 11 in the beginning of 2020. Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070: release date, price, news and features

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 is on its way, having been announced at Nvidia’s launch event. After months of speculations and rumors, the GPU is slated for an October release. And, it’s already looking to be much better than many had hoped.  So far, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 is the most affordable entry in Nvidia’s new Ampere lineup, setting you back $499/£469. While ‘affordable’ is certainly a relative term – it’s still an expensive card for many consumers – it won’t come with the wallet-busting price tag that the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 come with. Better yet, with that much lower price tag, it puts the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti to shame, rocking specs that seem too good to be true. It does have slower RAM than the rest of the Ampere line-up, and new rumors point to both an RTX 3070 ‘Super’ and an RTX 3070 Ti being in the works. Governments Shouldn’t Choose the News in Your Feed

The dispute between news publishers, tech platforms, and the Australian government exploded last week, as Facebook threatened to pull news from its platform in Australia if proposed legislation on a new bargaining code is passed. Google published an open letter warning of the dangers of the new law. The legislation would create a mandatory bargaining code between publishers and Facebook and Google, requiring the two platforms to host news from any publisher that participates in the code and to pay for that content at a price set by an arbitrator. WIRED OPINION ABOUT Matt Perault is the director of the Center on Science & Technology Policy at Duke University and an associate professor of the practice at Duke’s Sanford School of Public Policy. He was previously a director of public policy at Facebook. Most of the reporting on the proposed legislation has focused on the requirement that platforms pay for news. That’s a controversial proposition, since neither Facebook nor Google force news outlets to share their content on Facebook or in Google News, since both Facebook and Google already share revenue with publishers, and since news doesn’t make much money for tech platforms. In addition, the code envisions only one-way payments from platforms to publishers, even though in other markets like app stores and internet-based TV, content providers pay for distribution. It’s been over a year now since Watch Dogs: Legion was first revealed during Ubisoft’s E3 2019 conference. Rumors suggested the latest instalation to the Watch Dog series would take place in dystopian London and it turns out they were spot on. With characters straight out of a Guy Ritchie film, Watch Dogs Legion sees you navigating the streets of futuristic London, including Camden Market and Piccadilly Circus, as you form a resistance to take back the city. Update: At the most recent Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft announced that Watch Dogs: Legion will include a song and special mission from renowned rapper Stormzy. Stormzy’s “Fall On My Enemies” mission is expected to be available when the game launches on October 29. Originally Ubisoft gave us a Watch Dogs: Legion release date of March 6, 2020, however the developer then pushed this date back to October 29, 2020 to allow the team “more development time to ensure that their respective innovations are perfectly implemented so as to deliver optimal experiences for players”. PUBG news and updates: what’s new in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (or PUBG as it’s commonly known) spearheaded the popularity of battle royale games. It was a breakout hit that inspired countless competitors such as Fortnite and Apex Legends, but it still remains one of the most played games on Steam and Xbox Live.  Unlike its rivals, PUBG is a more simulation-focused affair, with real-world weapons and physics to consider, such as bullet drop and variable weather conditions. If you’ve been turned off by Fortnite’s flamboyant art style or the relentlessly fast gameplay of Call of Duty: Warzone, PUBG is well worth a go – it’s also on Xbox Game Pass.   Since its meteoric rise from a Steam Early Access title to achieving the highest concurrent player count on Steam back in 2018, PUBG has made its way to PS4, Xbox One, Stadia, Android and iOS. There’s also PUBG Lite, a free-to-play adaptation of the game which can run on lower-spec hardware, such as laptops. PUBG also receives regular updates, adding new content, features and – perhaps somewhat predictably – plenty of fixes for annoying bugs. Where we droppin’? But what is PUBG? ‘Tenet’ had a good Labor Day box office. It’s great news for COVID-19.

People, please. Stop going to the movies! After multiple delays, Tenet finally hit U.S. theaters on Sept. 4, just a week after the movie’s international opening on Aug. 28. Through Sunday of this three-day weekend, it’s earned an estimated $20.2 million at the U.S. box office. That’s not a huge start for a Christopher Nolan-directed sci-fi mindfuck that was meant to open as a mid-summer 2020 blockbuster. But even if Tenet makes zero dollars on Labor Day – which is highly unlikely – a $20.2 million opening would put it right in the middle of Labor Day weekend’s all-time “Top 10” at the box office. Tenet is faring even better outside the United States, with an accumulated international total of $126 million from non-U.S. theaters. But the pandemic threat also isn’t quite as dire outside the U.S., where countries haven’t been subjected to mismanagement by an incompetent and criminally self-absorbed president. It’s fair to say that Tenet isn’t performing the way Warner Bros. had hoped it would before COVID-19 shut down moviegoing for months, but not by as much as you might think. With the exception of his latter two Batman movies, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, Nolan’s movies have generally opened in the $50 million to $60 million range.  Tenet will probably close Labor Day weekend with close to $30 million if Monday viewings hold up.
