NASA to test precision automated landing system designed for the Moon and Mars on upcoming Blue Origin mission – TechCrunch

NASA is going to be testing out a new precision landing system designed for use on the tough terrain of the Moon and Mars for the first time during an upcoming mission of Blue Origin’s New Shepard reusable suborbital rocket. The ‘Safe and Precise Landing – Integrated Capabilities Evolution’ (SPLICE) system is made up of a number of lasers, an optical camera, and a computer to take all the data collected by the sensors and process it using advanced algorithms, and it works by spotting potential hazards, and adjusting landing parameters on the fly to ensure a safe touchdown. Razer Kishi controller brings console precision to iPhone games

Razer is launching the Kishi Universal Gaming Controller for the iPhone. Finally, I’ve got something that gives me an unfair advantage in a Call of Duty game.

It’s a stretchable accessory that can fit most new iPhones, adding game controller analog sticks and buttons to your mobile gaming experience. It connects via the Lightning connector and wraps around the edges of the iPhone.

New AI tool detects child sexual abuse material with ‘99% precision’

A new AI-powered tool called Safer aims to stem the flow of abusive content, find the victims, and identify the perpetrators.

The system uses machine learning to detect new and unreported child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Thorn, the non-profit behind Safer, says it spots the content with greater than 99% precision.  Read More
