Save up to 30% environment-saving products: As of April 22, multiple retailers are offering discounts on eco-friendly products in honor of Earth Day. Here are some good ones at a glance:

  • Stasher — save 25% sitewide

  • S’well — save 25% sitewide

  • Wild One — save 20% on Earth Day picks with code ETH20

Earth Day isn’t a phase in April. It’s a lifestyle. But Earth Day is the day to save some money on products to live more sustainably year-round — or that dog treat pouch made of recycled bottles that you’ve been eyeing.

On the day saturated with all of the things you can buy to minimize your personal impact, let’s make sure to point out that individual “carbon footprints” have nothing on how major corporations are fueling climate change.

But Earth Day is also the perfect day to remember these two things aren’t mutually exclusive. You can acknowledge that a few companies are responsible for a huge chunk of carbon emissions while acknowledging that a swarm of individuals composting or breaking their bottled water habit (dare we mention metal straws?) still keeps thousands of pounds of waste out of landfills or the ocean.

If you’d like to do something past spending money this Earth Day, here’s something impactful and free: Urge your elected officials to support the Break Free From Plastic Pollution Act. The bill has several components related to single-use plastic and recycling, but generally proposes to transfer the weight from regular people to the companies that produce plastic in the first place (or deal with it after we recycle it). It’s a long shot as a whole, but still brings issues of plastic waste to the federal level with slam effect. Email or call your representatives, sign a petition, or research the stances of candidates running for the mid-terms.

Stasher — save 25% sitewide

Quash your dependence on sandwich bags? Of course not — just graduate from single-use Ziplocs to reusable ones. Stasher’s dishwasher-safe silicone bags come in multiple sizes and colors and are great for packed lunches, leftover storage, and as a home for rogue Legos.

Wild One — save 20% on Earth Day picks with code ETH20

Become the *it* pet parent at the dog park with a carrier or treat pouch from Wild One, each made out of recycled water bottles.

Package Free Shop — save 30% sitewide with code EARTH

It is estimated that 40% of plastic produced is packaging alone, much of which is torn off and tossed within seconds. Cut the wrapping out of the equation with shampoo and conditioner bars, zero-waste kitchen swaps, and more.

Dropps — save 30% sitewide

Many of the ingredients inside mainstream cleaning products contribute to pollution, just like the plastic they’re bottled in Instead, Dropps’ household cleaners, laundry pods, dishwasher detergent and more utilize natural ingredients and come in low-waste packaging.

Target — save 15% on earth-friendly brands

Save 15% on a huge selection of eco-friendly products like reusable water bottles, recycled paper towels, natural cleaning products, and more — all stuff that you’d be buying for your weekly routine anyway, but better for the Earth.

S’well — save 25% sitewide

Water bottles are a part of the fit when they’re as cute as the ones from S’well. Shop endless patterns, textures, or classic solids in a stainless steel build that’ll keep drinks cold and ice frozen all day.

Connecting a Nest thermostat to your home’s heating and cooling system helps to maintain the most energy-efficient temperature in each room, especially when you’re not home. Grab the classic Nest for $99 or the Learning Nest for $218.98.

Aerogarden — save 30% sitewide

The amount of single-use plastic packaging used by produce suppliers is dumb. The hanging LED lights give your preferred herbs and what they need to prosper in the nursery that’s small enough to chill on the kitchen counter.

EyeBuyDirect — buy one, get one 50% off

EyeBuyDirect’s sitewide promo includes the glasses in its 5 To See collection of frames made from recycled plastic bottles. Styles include wayfarer and cat eye in both regular glasses and sunglasses.

Ana Luisa — buy one, get one 40% off

Technically it’s a Mother’s Day sale, but a sale from this carbon neutral jewelry brand isn’t one to pass up. Shop lasting classic pieces like gold layering necklaces and everyday hoops in 14K gold and sterling silver.
