You can watch the first 8 minutes of ‘In The Heights’ right now
The lights are finally going up on Washington Heights! The first eight minutes of In the Heights were just released online, giving us a glimpse of what to expect when the full film arrives this Thursday.
Adapted from Quiara Alegría Hudes and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s 2007 stage musical, In the Heights follows Usnavi (Hamilton‘s Anthony Ramos) as well as the other residents of his vibrant Manhattan neighbourhood as they reach for their dreams in a world that seems to be constantly working against them. The much-anticipated film also features Corey Hawkins, Leslie Grace, Melissa Barrera, Stephanie Beatriz, and of course Lin-Manuel Miranda as a piragua vendor.
In The Heights hits both theatres and HBO Max on June 10.
