PlayStation head Jim Ryan steps down in March 2024



Sony announced today that Jim Ryan, head of Sony Interactive Entertainment and PlayStation, is retiring in March 2024. He has worked for Sony for almost thirty years, and assumed the role of CEO of SIE in 2019.

Sony Group Corporation President Hiroki Totoki will take over as Chairman of SIE in October 2023, and will assume the role of interim CEO on April 1, 2024.
