The best Black Friday deals on streaming services under $100

Until November 28th at 11:59PM PT, you can get a year of ad-supported Hulu for $11.88, which works out to $0.99 a month a savings of $68 compared to buying the $79.99 annual plan. New and returning subscribers (who canceled their Hulu subscription at least a month ago) as well as existing Disney Plus and ESPN Plus standalone subscribers are eligible for the deal.

Max is offering new and returning customers a six-month subscription to its ad-supported plan for $2.99 a month instead of $9.99 a month until November 27th. The base plan provides access to all the same programming as the pricier tiers, including shows like The Last of Us and films like Barbie.

Philips Hue’s starter kit is a great option for those looking to get started with smart lighting; one comes with two color-changing A19 800-lumen bulbs and a Philips Hue Bridge.

Developed in partnership with Resideo, the Amazon Smart Thermostat allows you to control the temperature of your home through Alexa voice controls and remotely via an app. Read our review.

  • You can buy Nanoleaf’s Shapes Mini Triangles Smarter Kit for $79.99 ($20 off) directly from Nanoleaf. The 10 modular light panels can display over 16 million colors, pulse to the beat of music, and are compatible with a range of smart home platforms including Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Home.

  • If you’re looking for a budget-friendly Wi-Fi smart plug that works with all major smart home platforms, you can buy a pair of Meross Smart Wi-Fi Plug Mini (MSS110) plugs for $19.99 ($10 off) at Amazon.
  • Amazon’s Smart Plug is on sale for $14.99 instead of $24.99 at Amazon and Best Buy. The plug integrates well with Alexa-enabled devices and requires little setup, but be aware it only works with Alexa and indoors.
  • The Leviton Decora Smart Dimmer Plug (D23LP-2RW) is down to $26.15 (about $7 off) at Amazon. This is an excellent plug-in smart dimmer for dimming indoor lights, one that supports all major smart home platforms as well as Matter.
  • You can grab the Eve Light Strip at Amazon for $39.95 (half off). The colorful, Wi-Fi-ready LED strip is compatible with Apple’s Adaptive HomeKit Lighting and provides 1,800 lumens of brightness.

These are Matter-compatible out of the box and have rich colors and a nice range of cool to warm lights. Each LED is individually addressable, allowing for some fun effects. Nanoleaf’s ecosystem is limited when it comes to outdoor lights, but there are lots of indoor options across which you can sync scenes.

The customizable Govee M1 Matter Compatible LED Strip Light is 6.56 feet long and can display millions of colors and shades of white. You can also use it to create light patterns that sync with music. Read our review.

Each Blink Mini includes a ball-and-socket mount, a USB-C cable for powering it, and a power adapter. However, note that you’ll need to opt for the optional Blink subscription plan to take advantage of cloud storage and some features. Read our review.
